The "Chinese Movie Supermarket" will air 26 homegrown movies for the bargain price of just 10 yuan each at 25 cinemas in Beijing over the next two weeks.

The New Film Association and Huaxia Film Distribution launched the film festival in Beijing on Monday to promote Chinese cinema. 　

The 26 domestic movies on show include Little Red Flowers, Court House on the Horseback, Curiosity Kills the Cat and Yuan Ming Yuan. 　　

Liu Jie, Director of Court House on the Horseback, was delighted his film was selected for distribution. 　　

"Though my movie has been widely distributed in Europe, I still want Chinese people to watch it. This event has created such an opportunity," he said.
