US Fortune magazine on Tuesday interviewed Jiang Xiaoyu, executive vice president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).

Jiang answered questions about the role of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing's economic development and promotion for the city's environment and transportation.

Founded by Henry Luce in 1930, Fortune magazine is part of the media conglomerate Time Warner. The well-known Fortune500 published annually by the magazine is influential among business world.
